Qualification: Graduate (Master’s degree preferred)
Experience: Minimum 11 – 15 years in Collections & Recovery Management
Salary: 20% Hike on Current CTC
Job Summary
The Regional Head – Collections is responsible for reducing delinquency, improving recovery rates, and managing collections operations across multiple branches. The role involves strategic planning, team leadership, legal compliance, and process optimization to ensure effective debt recovery while maintaining customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio & Delinquency Management
· Accountable for reducing delinquency and improving recovery rates, focusing 20% on early buckets and 80% on bucket 2 and above.
· Monitor portfolio performance through regular reviews and forecast strategies to improve collections.
· Ensure the timely allocation of cases to collection officers based on geography and vintage.
Operations & Process Management
· Oversee the entire collections cycle, ensuring timely hand offs between regular collections representatives and field officers.
· Ensure strict adherence to internal & external compliance guidelines in all collection activities.
· Implement legal action strategies for problematic customers to minimize losses.
· Ensure timely cash deposition and system reflection within 24 hours.
· Support data quality management by improving customer information accuracy.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
· Manage 5 to 6 branches, with one direct report per branch.
· Design, implement, and regularly review collection strategies to align with economic and legal changes.
· Disseminate targets, KPIs, and incentive structures to the team at the beginning of each month.
· Ensure adequate team capacity and minimize attrition, with a strong focus on succession planning.
· Conduct regular training, coaching, and motivation programs to enhance team performance.
Reporting & Analytics
· Maintain and update daily collection reports for tracking performance.
· Prepare and analyze monthly outstanding data on a case-to-case basis.
· Conduct and manage monthly collection meetings at respective locations.
· Generate and present MIS reports to the AVP – Collections for performance insights.
Key Competencies & Skills
✔ Strong understanding of debt recovery processes, collection techniques, and legal frameworks.
✔ Proven expertise in NPA management and regulatory compliance.
✔ Ability to analyze data, forecast trends, and implement collection strategies.
✔ Excellent leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
✔ Proficiency in MIS reporting and financial analysis.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 – ₹2,000,000.00 per year
